History

DB Accounting and Brokerage first opened its doors in July of 2022. The staff originally worked under a different partnership and name, Young, Nicholas, Branner & Phillips. Since 2002, David Black has focused on serving client needs with integrity and competency. Realizing that he wasn’t quite ready to discontinue his service to the community, David Black, along with four other staff members, opened a new office location and formed a new business, DB Accounting and Brokerage. David and his business partners look forward to continuing the distinguished service that he has offered to citizens and businesses of the Shenandoah Valley for the past twenty years.

DB Accounting and Brokerage is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.

We strive to bring excellence to our clients and are dedicated to providing you with quality professional services. Our clientele consists of  individuals, small and large businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. They range in industry from agriculture, fast food, manufacturing, trucking, funeral homes, and construction, among other various industries and professions.

DB Accounting and Brokerage is made up of five talented team members who are here to assist you in meeting your specific needs. Through continuing professional education and first-hand experience our team members are constantly expanding their knowledge and finetuning their skills to guide you through the complexities of the current tax and accounting laws.
